ALEN BRENTINI

Bio:
Alen BrentiniAlen Brentini - singer, guitar player, songwriter
Born in Rijeka/Croatia on September 7th, 1977.
I started playing the guitar when I was 9 and became a professional musician at the age of 19.
During my music career I have made many recordings and done live sessions with established Croatian artists. Somewhere at the beginning of 2000s I also played with many international master-class musicians, such as Woody Mann (NY, USA), Franco Morone (IT) and others at some acoustic fingerstyle guitar festivals in Croatia.
In 2006 I joined Aki Rahimovski band, Aki being one of the most popular and respected Croatian singers. We did the Australian tour in 2007 and released a double album called ''U vremenu izgubljenih'', for which I recorded guitars and wrote some lyrics. The album was recorded in Los Angeles/Zagreb and it features several amazing guest musicians from the USA, such as Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy), Scott Henderson, Joey Heredia and Renato Neto (Prince), along with some of the best Croatian instrumentalists.
As a solo artist I released my first single in the winter of 2006 under the label of Croatia Records. A few months later I made a few more singles and took part in one of the biggest festivals in Croatia called ''Dora 2007 for the Eurovision song contest''.
My first studio album called "Treca Dimenzija" was released on August 18th, 2008 and it was a promo supported by many TV/Radio and live performances. The album contains 12 tracks plus a bonus video for the title track filmed in Sydney/Australia during the tour in 2007 with Aki Rahimovski band. It was released under the Croatia Records label.
In the meantime I played with and supported some of the greatest musicians in this hard & heavy genre, like Richie Kotzen, Kee Marcello (Europe), Marco Mendoza, Nicole McCloud (Michael Jackson, Sting), Michael T. Ross (Liata Ford, Hardline) and many more.
After this I decided to write some new instrumental material and some English songs too, and change the style into more hard rock/metal.
In May 2010 I finished my second, instrumental album called "Behind the walls of silence". I wrote all the songs, arrangements, recorded mostly all the instruments and did the production. The album contains 14 tracks and it was released only online.
In 2012 I became a full time member of Andreas Gabalier Band (the biggest Austrian pop star) and performed on some live TV shows in Germany and Austria. One of the greatest events that year was Bambi Awards for the best shooting star in 2012 in Dusseldorf/Germany.
During 2012 we did two successful tours in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and all the shows were sold out, including the biggest one at Wiener Stadthalle (Vienna, Austria) where we filmed our first live DVD/2CD, which was released by Universal Music (Germany).
Right after this I recorded an acoustic CD/DVD with a Croatian singer/songwriter Ayra, released by Dallas Records. I did all the arrangements, performed instrumentally and wrote some lyrics/music too.
In September 2013 I went on another big tour with Andreas Gabalier called "Home sweet home tour". We did 30 big arena shows in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland and recorded a live CD/DVD at Olympia Hall (Munich, Germany) in front of 13,000 people.
On January 15th, 2014 my 3rd album "Soul'd Out" was officially released by Install Records (Austria). This album contains 11 tracks written, arranged, performed and produced by me, and mastered by Ayra.
In June 2015 I did an acoustic summer tour in Croatia (c. 60 gigs) and promoted the album.
On October 2nd, 2015 I went on another big arena tour with Andreas Gabalier band all across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It was the "Mountain Man Tour" and we filmed another live CD/DVD release at Berlin O2 World Arena/Mercedes Arena.
In December 2015 I recorded the album "Cathedral of the Black Cult" for a Croatian black metal band called Black Cult.
On July 30th, 2016 I performed live at Olympia Stadium Munich as a solo artist supporting Andreas Gabalier in front of 72,000 people. My special guest was Michael Voss (MadMax, Casanova), who later became my producer for new material. Michael is well known as the official producer of Michael Schenker.
On August 18th, 2016 I performed live acoustic with Eric Martin (Mr.Big) in Austria.
On September 15th, 2016 we performed/recorded an MTV Unplugged DVD/CD with Andreas Gabalier in Vienna at Odeon Theatre along with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra w/ the conductor Christian Colonovits.
On February 11th, 2017 I performed live with Eric Martin, again in Austria.
In March 2017 I went on the MTV Unplugged tour with Andreas Gabalier (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and played at the best theatres and musical halls in the world.
In July 2017 I played as a solo artist at some famous places like Waldbühne, Berlin as a support act to Andreas Gabalier and later at Olympia Stadium in Munich, again for 72,000 people. My special guest was Claus Lessmann (ex-Bonfire).
On September 2nd, 2017 I performed as a solo artist to support Andreas Gabalier at Hockenheimring in front of almost 100,000 people.
