BRIDGE TO SOLACE

Bio:
Bridge To SolaceBridge to solace (ex-Newborn) was founded back in 2000, where the string and rhythm section got together to play what they like the most: fast hardcore punk music with as many melodic guitars as possible. All the members have been busy in the past years of the Budapest hardcore punk scene with both disbanded and still-existing groups, especially the now defunct Newborn drummer Adam, who has been a perpeetum mobile in the Hungarian hardcore music community, basically playing all the instruments available. Even if the band is approximately 3 years old now, they never succeeded in finding a vocalist (earlier Adam sang, Tamas played guitars, and some drummers were tested) up until the original line-up of Newborn decided to part ways and go into different musical directions. They figured that the quickly unemployed Zoli might be a good solution to handle the vocal duties. Bridge To Solace play a perfect mixture of fast paced hardcore and heartbreaking melodies, with cynical and heavily political lyrics, that are at the same time deeply personal outlook on today’s world. Their debut full length record on Let It Burn Records is released on August 15th, 2003. The 10 songs also include exclusive spoken word performance by Greg Bennick, former singer of Trial.
