Brought by PainEmanating from Montreal, Canada, Brought by Pain is a Progressive Technical Death Metal band active since 2009. They incorporate elements from Jazz, Progressive Rock, Black Metal and Reggae while remaining in the technical sphere of metal. Their music is recognized among death metal connoisseurs as a powerful, complex and balanced listening experience.
The band self-released their first album ‘’The Dreamer’s Will’’ in 2011 as well as their most recent EP ‘’Crafted by Society’’ in 2016, which presented a massive upgrade in both production quality and musical identity. With Kevin Chartré on guitars (Beyond Creation/Unhuman) and Hugo Doyon-Karout on fretless bass (Beyond Creation/Equipoise), Brought by Pain’s powerhouse of a lineup is among the most precise and masterful of it’s genre.
