Gorrch GORRCH are one of the most distinctive voices emerging from Italy’s extreme black metal underground. Formed in 2010 in Cavaso del Tomba, Veneto, by brothers Droich (guitars, bass) and Chimsicrin (drums, vocals, keyboards), the duo has built a cult reputation through a fiercely uncompromising artistic vision, rare live appearances, and an aura of mystery surrounding their performances. Their sound combines relentless aggression, dissonant guitar work, atmospheric depth, and ritualistic intensity, drawing inspiration from both classic second-wave black metal and the avant-garde traditions of the genre.
Following their self-titled debut EP (2013) and acclaimed first full-length album Nera Estasi (2015), GORRCH expanded their sonic boundaries with the experimental EP Introvertere (2020). In 2026, the band returned with Stillamentum, their long-awaited sophomore album and first release through Avantgarde Music. Produced by Andrea Petucco (Ad Nauseam), the record further cements GORRCH’s reputation for crafting claustrophobic, emotionally charged black metal that balances chaos, atmosphere, and existential intensity.
