MARCH OF WAR
Bio:
March Of War is Blackened Melodic Death Metal band from Slovenia, Ljubljana. It was established in 2017, under the wish from lead guitarist. Later on, the singer and drummer joined the band. In the same year, the band had to replace 2 rhythm guitarists and a bass player, which didn’t stop them to write music in the ganger they play at the moment.
Band is on it’s way toward releasing their first album, which is expected to happen in 2020. The whole album is based on stories from the so-called Chernobyl exclusion zone, which is located in Ukraine. The stories are taken from real-life people, who lived the disaster and from a video game called ‘’S.T.A.L.K.E.R.’’. Songs cast a quite interesting feeling and ambient in the air and the same effect can be achieved at a live show. Lyrics are written in a style of ballads, in a more depressive perspective, because that’s also the story of the Zone, where the character doesn’t have a lot of opportunities to survive as also the people who lived the disaster.
The melodies are composed with fast and slow rhythms, combined with breakdowns. Album is composed in a way, to take a listener on a path of the character in the story, from it’s start to his bitter end.
