NEGLIGENCE
Bio:
Negligence started in 2000 when Jey and Dyz started jaming ol' skull riffs. The chemistry was there and cool songs started to evolve. It took some time to find the proper folk to start the complete band rehersals. In late 2001 L'p and Ruzz joined and the band was almost complete. We wrote like 12 songs in a year and tried to perfect them as much as possible and had lots of fun doin' it. The singer was the big problem. In 2003 Lenz came and we did some gigs together - people liked it. In early 2004 we recorded two demos but were not really satisfied with the sound. In late 2004 we started to record our 3rd demo which sounded better. I sang the vocal lines since Lenz has quit the band in late 2004 just as we started to record, due to professional and personal reasons. We are still very good frends and he totaly supports us... In Early 2005 Alex came as he left the band called Metalsteel. We started to reherse and had one gig - people loved it! In 2005 we still rehersed all the songs and wrote some new material. The main goal of 2005 was the pre-production of our first album. We were so much looking forward to that moment. We started to record our 1st album in december 2005. It was awsome as we were lucky enough that AMD jesenice landed us a sonicly proper environment. The january and february of 2006 were awsome as we were fully enjoing the process of materialization of our work... It was great, but then some stuff came in between. First of all me and Ruž had to finish a 16 track assignment in SAE, so we had to do the Addicted to Agression song inbetween of our album recording (in late feb 2006). The song turned out cool and we all loved it - and it was also our first recording with Alex! As we returned to our studio to record bass tracks Rope from Sweet Sorrow and Jey came up with some tour dates so in march we started a tour in a middle of a recording process...which was a bit bad because we could not focous on the album 100%. As it later turned out it was a bit of a madhouse combining our jobs, studiorecording, touring, rehersing and goinng to SAE... We still managed to finish all the tracks untill july 2006. Then the vocals came in and we had lots of trouble squeezing the limits out of our singer + we had to re-write half of the vocal arrangements, so that was fun and pain at the same time. Finally in december of 2006 we finished the whole recording. We are not satisfied with the sound, but are happy as HELL to see our baby born! :D At the time we are still building our new rehersal place which will also be a NEGLIGENCE SOUND SOLUTION studio. It will probably not be operational untill the end of this year. The album is finally out and it's called ''Options Of A Trapped Mind''.
