Owls Woods Graves Emerging from Kraków’s acclaimed underground metal scene, Owls Woods Graves have become one of Poland’s most distinctive extreme music exports. Formed in 2015 by musicians known for their involvement with influential acts including Mgła, Medico Peste, and Over the Voids..., the band forges a ferocious blend of black metal, hardcore punk, and rock ’n’ roll swagger. Their sound combines razor-sharp riffing, relentless energy, and an uncompromising rebellious spirit, creating a style that is both savage and irresistibly infectious.
Following their self-titled debut EP in 2016, Owls Woods Graves expanded their reputation with the acclaimed full-length albums Citizenship of the Abyss (2019), Secret Spies of the Horned Patrician (2022), and Strix (2025). Once a studio-only project, the band evolved into a formidable live force in recent years, bringing their blackened punk assault to festivals and stages across Europe. With a sound that bridges underground extremity and undeniable songwriting hooks, Owls Woods Graves continue to push the boundaries of modern black metal.
