Roses of Thieves Roses of Thieves are a fast-rising Hungarian modern metal outfit redefining genre boundaries with a bold, high-energy fusion of styles. Formed in 2023, the band quickly gained traction across the European scene thanks to their infectious blend of modern metal, folk elements, EDM textures, and Irish pub-punk spirit—delivered with a party-ready intensity and a cinematic edge.
Their debut album Gateway to Utopia (2024) introduced a dynamic sound built on soaring melodies, driving riffs, and distinctive instrumentation, including violin and accordion, setting them apart from their contemporaries. The band’s explosive live presence soon earned them slots alongside acts like Alestorm and Paddy and the Rats, helping them expand beyond Hungary and into the wider European circuit.
In 2025, Roses of Thieves entered a new chapter with the addition of powerhouse vocalist Dudás Ivett, whose arrival brought fresh sonic depth and a renewed artistic identity. This evolution is showcased on their sophomore album Demons Ascend, a release that further refines their signature mix of folk metal, modern rock, and high-tempo intensity.
